Blaze is 13 yrs old . We have been to 4 different vets and still have no answers . The first vet said constipation and that his kidneys looked good but then blaze had blood in his stools when he finally was able to go and i took him back to the vet they then proceeded to say he may have a blockage that they would have to refer us out to another vet. So i got a second opinion the 2nd vet said that he was not blocked and gave fluids due to his vomiting and sudden diarrhea instead of constipation . So needless to say this has been non stop since april 17th 2026 . We ended up at a veterinary hospital with poop samples in hand and by this time it was a month later and the vet said his poop should be better thicker formed so she wanted me to do miralax with gabapentin and of course more prescription food so we tried all that. now blaze is at 12.8lbs when all this started in april he was 15 lbs . Still can't get him regulated we have tried otc stuff prescriptions and even ended up at a walk in clinic with still no answers . I was told by the 3rd vet he probably needed an ultrasound and other testing which i do not have the money for so I'm pleading for help . He means the world to my autistic son and i and we want to save him if at all possible so even if it's just a little bit everything helps. It would mean alot to my son and i to know we did everything we could to save our blazey boy's life . If not then we are faced with the costs of either helping him cross the rainbow bridge or letting our bills go . If you would feel better donating directly to a veterinary office i can provide details with that information as well . Please 🙏 🙏 🙏 that blaze can get the help he so desperately needs and deserves . Huge update an angel came through to help us get an ultrasound and the ultrasound went very good so now if we can get blaze to eating and putting weight back on great . But the vet at knightsville veterinary clinic said if he does not start improving then he would want to see him back and do further testing because he isn't giving up on him so i will leave this fundraiser up and going for any other testing he may need .
