Hello everyone! This is Bella, my 14 year old baby. Anyone who knows Bella knows she’s the first to greet you at the door and welcomes guests in as if they were supposed to be there all along. She is the sweetest and most loving cat, always ready for a cuddle and her treats. I’ve had Bella since she was 8 weeks old and through every high and low, we’ve grown up together. We have such a special connection— one that doesn’t require the same language but is strictly built on love, comfort and happiness. Currently she has a mysterious ear infection that she’s been suffering from for almost a year now. We’ve been in and out of the vets office many times throughout this period, getting tests done and trying all medications offered, still with no relief. While this has definitely been costly, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my sweet girl. Bella has been referred to a specialist, however, due to her worsening condition, she doesn’t have the time to wait to be seen by them. We’re down to our last option, but the one that holds the most hope—a TECA (total ear canal ablation). Due to the high costs of the specialized surgery and care she’ll need, I’m asking for any help you’d be willing to give, all of which would go towards her surgery, hospitalization, prescription costs, aftercare and overall vet bills. As much as I don’t want to face the reality, Bella’s health is rapidly declining because of her ear and she needs this treatment and surgery urgently in order to get her life back. Seeing her suffer in pain is truly a living nightmare and I know that she has more life left to enjoy. I genuinely can’t imagine a life without her next to me. Although the two of us have taken on this life together, the cost of the care she needs is far beyond what I’m able to cover financially.  Bella has been the best cat to me for all these years and I’m determined to give her back her comfortable, happy life.
