I'm raising money to help my family catch up on rent after I was laid off. I was the sole breadwinner for my wife and our three children, ages 6, 4, and 2. Without stable employment yet, we've fallen almost three months behind on rent and are now facing eviction.

I've always believed in working hard to support my family. That's something I hold close to my heart. Swallowing my pride to ask for help hasn't been easy, I don't like to beg for anything. But right now, my family needs a boost to get us caught up and keep a roof over our heads.

The government says I'm a capable adult and won't step in. I'm still looking for stable work, but I need help now to prevent homelessness.We have less than a full week to come up with the funds.
