My name is Yvette], and I am reaching out with a heartfelt request for help for my husband, Shawn, and me during one of the most difficult times of our lives.

Shawn and I have been married for 13 years. We have always done our best to face life's challenges together, but we are now struggling with homelessness while also trying to manage serious medical conditions.

Shawn suffers from severe obstructive sleep apnea and relies on a BiPAP machine every night to help him breathe while he sleeps. Without stable housing and access to electricity, using this vital medical equipment consistently has become extremely difficult.

On top of that, Shawn has been diagnosed with Stage 3B kidney disease. His doctors have advised him to follow a healthy diet and carefully manage his condition to help prevent further damage to his kidneys. Being homeless makes it nearly impossible to prepare nutritious meals or provide the stable environment he needs for his health.

I am currently his primary caregiver and am unable to work because of the care he requires. We are waiting for Shawn's Social Security Disability benefits, but the process takes time, and we urgently need help now.

Our goal is to raise enough money to cover a security deposit and several months of rent so we can move into safe, stable housing while we wait for his disability benefits to begin. Having a home would allow Shawn to use his BiPAP machine every night, follow the dietary recommendations for his kidney disease, and focus on his health and recovery instead of the uncertainty of homelessness.

We are not looking for anything beyond a safe place to live and the ability to meet Shawn's basic medical needs. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward housing expenses and helping us regain stability during this difficult chapter of our lives.
