My name is Pedro, and I am from Türkiye.

A few years ago, I met the woman who completely changed my life. She is from the Philippines, and despite the thousands of miles between us, we chose to fight for our relationship every single day.

Long-distance relationships are never easy. We spent countless nights talking across different time zones, celebrating birthdays through phone screens, and dreaming about the day we could finally wake up beside each other instead of saying goodnight through a video call.

That dream is finally within reach.

I made the difficult decision to leave my country and start a new life in the Philippines. It meant leaving behind my family, my friends, my comfort, and everything familiar to me. I did it because I truly believe that love is worth sacrificing for.

Like many international couples, we quickly discovered that love alone doesn’t pay for immigration paperwork, legal documents, wedding expenses, rent, or the many costs of starting over in a new country.

We are not looking for luxury.

We simply want the chance to begin our marriage without being overwhelmed by the financial burden of starting from nothing.

Our biggest dream is simple:

To build a peaceful home, become a family, and create a small business that will allow us to support ourselves through honest work.

Our plan is to open a small school and office supply store. We hope it will become more than just a business—it will be the foundation of our family’s future.

We are working hard and saving as much as we can, but starting over in another country has been far more expensive than we ever imagined.
