Dear friends, I’m writing on behalf of my very dear friend, Tina Gallo, who is enduring an unbearable loss. This past Wednesday, with a heavy and broken heart, she had to make the gut-wrenching decision to let her beloved horse, Journey Boy, go. I have known Tina for 40 years, and this is one of the hardest things I've seen her go through. For those of you that know her as an animal lover, you can understand why.

For 20 years, he was by her side—he was more than a horse, he was her constant companion. Just this past February, he turned 27, but after fracturing his elbow twice in the same spot, he wasn't healing and could no longer walk. Despite every brave fight, Tina had to make that heartbreaking choice to release him of his pain and say goodbye.

Journey was a radiant light, a source of comfort, trust, and unconditional love. 

Now, as Tina grieves, the sudden burden of piling medical bills and burial expenses is weighing heavily.
