After my fiancé's mom passed away, he was left with a run-down single wide trailer on family property as his only inheritance. This trailer has been his home for nearly half his life, and it holds memories of both his parents, who he lost within two years of each other. Unfortunately, some of his mom's family are now trying to take the house from him. They've been caught on camera trying the front door while we were out of town, stealing water, and damaging another trailer outside. The situation has become urgent, as he needs to move the trailer off the property to protect his only inheritance and find a safe place to live.

We have managed to replace one broken window and the exterior doors, which were previously just plywood sheets cut to size. The funds raised will cover the moving costs to relocate the trailer to another property about 65 miles away. This move is essential for his safety and peace of mind, as the family property is no longer a secure or welcoming place. The stress of losing his mom and dad, combined with the betrayal and hostility from relatives, has been emotionally devastating. He is trying desperately to manage the daily anxiety and heartbreak of being forced out by the very people who should be supporting him. This is a painful repeat of what one of his uncles did to his mom years ago, and it’s heartbreaking to see history repeat itself.
