Hi, my name is Sheri, and I’m reaching out from our small town of Walnut Cove, North Carolina, with a heavy heart but so much love and hope.

Two years ago, our world changed forever when my beautiful daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Since that day, we’ve fought alongside her every step of the way doing everything we can to keep her as healthy and comfortable as possible. She’s been incredibly strong, but this disease has taken so much from her. She can no longer participate in the daily activities she once loved, and the sadness it brings weighs on her deeply. What used to be a joyful, close knit family has been gravely affected; the laughter and happiness we shared feel distant now as we focus on doctor visits, treatments, and just getting through each day.

Life has been even harder since I lost my husband. We’ve been trying our best to manage on our own, but the medical bills have become crushing and overwhelming. No matter how hard we work or stretch every dollar, we simply can’t keep up anymore. The constant stress of fighting these bills leaves us with little energy to just be there for her the way we want to caring for her fully, supporting her emotionally, and trying to bring back some of the joy that cancer has stolen from our family.

That’s why I’m humbly asking for your help. We have set a goal of $30,000 to cover her ongoing medical bills and provide the care she needs so desperately. Every donation will go directly toward treatments, medications, and the support that will allow us to focus on keeping our family together instead of drowning in debt. Even the smallest amount, a few dollars, a kind share, or a prayer will make a real difference in this trying time.

We are so grateful for any help shown to us, no matter how little or how big. Your kindness could help lift some of this burden so we can spend more precious moments making my daughter smile again and rebuilding the happiness we once knew.
