Help Iman Keep a Roof Over Her Head

My name is Iman Bludso. I'm 30 years old, and I've dedicated my career to working in education because I believe in making a difference in the lives of others. Like many people who work in education, the summer months can be incredibly difficult financially, especially when steady work isn't available.

This summer has been one of the hardest seasons of my life. Despite applying for jobs, searching for temporary work, and looking for any gig I can find, nothing has come through. As the weeks have gone by, I've fallen behind on my rent and am now $2,300 past due. Without immediate help, I'm at risk of losing my apartment and becoming homeless.

To make matters even more difficult, I recently lost my car, making it even harder to get to interviews, accept work opportunities, or simply get around. Every obstacle seems to make the next one even harder to overcome.

I'm also responsible for my dog, Prince, who has been my constant source of comfort through all of this. He's more than a pet—he's my family. The thought of not being able to provide a safe home for both of us is heartbreaking.

As difficult as it is to ask, I don't have family or anyone I can turn to for financial support. Creating this Give In Kind page is something I never imagined I'd have to do, but I'm reaching out with hope that my community and kind-hearted strangers might be willing to help me through this crisis.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward catching up on my rent and helping me stay housed while I continue searching for employment. If you're unable to give, sharing my story with others would mean just as much.

I'm committed to getting back on my feet. I just need a little help getting through this incredibly difficult chapter.
