My mother, Cathy Duncan, is a self-reliant widow. She receives nothing from any entity following dad’s passing. Now she needs our help. She has to have surgery on her heel. This is the second one she has had to have surgery on. She is semi-retired, but still has to work part-time to pay her bills. Post surgery, she will have to be off for 2 1/2 to 3 months. She will be staying with me and Stephen in Burwell during her recovery, but that doesn’t take away her basic monthly bills.
