​Hi, Im Candice and I am reaching out for support as I work to navigate a series of health and housing challenges. My goal is simple: to find safety and restore the health that my cats and I enjoyed before our living situation became a crisis.

​Medical Updates

While I am still in the process of staging my breast cancer, my health has become more complex. I now have markers for Hashimoto’s disease, which has made my recovery and daily energy much harder to manage.

​The Cats’ Health

My cats are my family, and I refuse to move without them. Unfortunately, the environment here has taken a toll on them as well. Tina and Rickii have both developed asthma, and have had some pretty scary asthma attacks. The veterinary care and medications needed to manage their breathing are a major, unexpected expense.

​A Path to Safety

I was healthy before this, and my cats were too. It has become clear that our current environment is the problem. My requests for help with mold issues resulted in a threat of eviction, and it is now critical that we relocate to a clean, mold-free home where we can all finally breathe and heal.
