This is my story. It’s a hard story to tell but

I’m reaching out for help after going through one of the most painful experiences imaginable.

A couple years ago, I was in what I thought was a loving, committed relationship with a woman.

I had no idea she was married.

We got pregnant, and she led me to believe the baby was mine.

I was excited and fully ready to step up and be a father — I rearranged my life to prepare for it.

I named her while she was in the womb and fell in love with the baby and name.

When the baby was born, I went to the hospital to be there, only to be completely denied access. Her husband was present instead, and she allowed him to sign the birth certificate as the father and not give her my last name nor the name I told my whole family.

I was shut out entirely.

Confused and heartbroken, I went through the court process to establish parentage because I still believed the child was mine and wanted to be part of their life.

The DNA results revealed the truth:

I was not the biological father — and neither was her husband.

To top it off: I have been physically abused multiple times.

The level of deception, betrayal and abuse has left me emotionally shattered.

I invested my heart, time, and resources into a future that was built on lies.

This situation has caused me significant financial hardship — I’ve struggled with severe anxiety, depression, trust issues, emotional breakdown, and lost work time due to the stress and breakdowns.

I’m working to get back on my feet.

As a man dealing with relationship betrayal and this kind of paternity fraud, support resources are very limited.

I’m doing my best to heal, stabilize my life, and move forward with dignity, but I need some help to cover basic needs while I recover.

Funds raised will be used for:

• Rent and housing to keep a stable place to live

• Groceries, utilities, and daily living expenses

• Counseling and therapy to process the trauma and emotional impact

• General rebuilding costs so I can focus on getting my life back on track
