I’m reaching out on behalf of my best friend who is going through an incredibly difficult period right now. He recently lost his job as a massage therapist—a career he truly cared about and worked hard in every day. Since then, he hasn’t stopped trying to get back on his feet.

He’s been actively applying for jobs, going to multiple interviews, and picking up side hustles wherever he can just to make ends meet. Despite all of his effort, the timing hasn’t worked out yet—and now he’s facing the very real possibility of eviction.

This situation isn’t from lack of trying. He is one of the most hardworking and determined people I know, and it’s heartbreaking to see someone putting in so much effort still struggle just to keep a roof over their head.

We’re asking for help to cover rent and basic living expenses during this transition so he can stay housed while continuing his job search. Any donation, no matter how small, would make a huge difference—and even sharing this fundraiser would mean the world.
