For the past 11 years my close friend, Joe Wallert has been the sole provider for his 4 daughter’s. They were placed in his full care after CPS determined their mother had neglected them, which she pled guilty to. Since then he has dedicated my life to giving his girls the stability, safety and love they deserve.

He’s done everything he can do on his own. Working full time, keeping a roof over their head and making sure they have what they need to grow and succeed.

Today they are facing a situation that he cannot handle alone.

The home they’ve been renting has recently been sold and they’ve been given just 90 days to move out. He is now scrambling to find a new home for his family in a very difficult housing market.

At the same time he is dealing with overwhelming financial pressure:

• He is currently supporting one daughter through college.
• One of his daughters is on the autism spectrum and requires additional care and support
• He is now facing a divorce filing that is seeking
• - Spousal support after more than 10 years apart.
• - Payment of medical bills going back 10 years
• - A share of his 401k, which he had planned to use for a down payment on a new home.

This has all come at once and it has put his family in a very vulnerable position.

He has always taken pride in handling everything on his own, but right now he needs help to keep his daughters safe and stable.
