How did things get so bad?

Hello,

My name is Christian and after 8 years working in the UK pro-life movement and speaking to thousands of people on the streets of Britain about abortion, my friends and I began to realise something. Lots of UK pro-life campaigning consists of "stop" campaigns rather than "start" ones.

If we are to actually change UK legislation in favour of life we need to stop waiting for the opposition to move, and start doing things differently.

That is why we've come up with the UK’s first HeartBeat Bill Campaign.

The campaign is designed to bring in legislation that will protect unborn babies from the moment a heartbeat can be detected (around 6 weeks), in all non-extreme circumstances.

The first goal is to gather 100,000 signatures, which in turn will trigger a parliamentary debate on the subject.

But in order to get there we need your help!

Our £13,000 Appeal...

We are seeking to raise £13,000 to ensure this campaign is credible, professional, and effective over the coming months and year.

Your donation will enable us to:

A) Cover Essential Campaign Costs & Employ One Part-Time Staff
B) Market the Campaign Across a Wide Network
C) Begin Developing What This Legislation Will Actually Look Like
D) Begin strengthening our grass roots network

13K may seem like a large figure but in reality it is around 1/10th or 1/20th of the yearly budget of larger partners working in the same area.

A Matter of National Importance

We are living through a demographic crisis. Primary schools are closing for lack of pupils. Population replacement ratios are way below what they should be all of which will either contribute to the need for further mass immigration or unleash the economic chaos of an aging population.

We cannot address every issue at once. But we can begin by affirming something fundamental:
