My name is Melanie and I have an amazing opportunity to go to Pemba, Mozambique to attend Harvest School of Missions! It runs from June 1st to August 1st and is an amazing opportunity to grow and be stretched in laying down your life for Him and those around you. Iris Global was founded by Heidi and Rolland Baker and Pemba is one of their main training bases where they equip and send you to go preach the Gospel in the hardest, darkest places on earth.

Why do I want to go? Let me take a few moments to tell you my story!
In 2009 the Lord put going to the nations on my heart while attending a conference in Kansas City called Onething at the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC). It was there I said yes to going to the hardest, darkest places on the earth to shine His light and see many come to know and love Him. After graduating from IHOPKC's Music Academy (2011-2013), I had an opportunity to help start a House of Prayer in the Middle East. It was there that Lord spoke to me again and gave me a passion to go to the nations. Since then many doors have opened up for me to travel and go places I never dreamed of! It's been a wild adventure for the past 7 years getting to do what I love most; leading people into encountering the living God and raising up worshippers to sing His praises all across the earth.
Now He is inviting me to go with Him to Mozambique! I believe that going and catching His heart for this nation will transform my heart and bring so much freedom and vision for the future. Going Harvest School will equip and prepare me to fulfill the call on my life as a missionary and daughter who shines His light even in the most remote, unreached places. I know the experiences I'll have in Mozambique will break my heart in such a good way and that I'll never be the same.
But I can't do this alone, so I’m asking friends and family to pray about partnering with me to send me to Harvest School. I have until April 25th to raise $4900 (tuiton and visa). And then I need to book my flights ($2800) by the first week of May at the latest.
Here's the breakdown of it all:
$4600 for tuition (Including Admissions Deposit)- Due April 25th. Covers housing, basic African food and mini outreach costs.
$2800- Flight (It could potentially be more expensive)
$200 extra expenses- On the base we must purchase our own water, extra food, mosquito net, toilet paper, candles when the power is off and have some personal speading money.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read about my amazing opportunity and for going on this journey with me! He is the faithful One! May He bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you.
