Last Thursday on the 19th, our dad, Victor was met with a brick wall in his cancer journey. Unfortunately, the treatment options have failed and we’ve exhausted every avenue possible and the end is within weeks. His final wish is to be cremated and placed next to his mother in Skyline Cemetery. 

His children need assistance to make his final wish a reality. As an addict, my dad lived through some dark times and when he found recovery 36 years ago, he lived his life sharing the hope of life after addiction. He has been spending his life helping others find a way through the darkness and into recovery. Now the Old Man in the meetings needs a little help. 

He has shared his story, his home, his life, and everything he has.  He has been so many things to so many people. He was the devoted parent, the caring friend and the loving sponsor. This pillar in the community is so loved, and when he leaves, his stories will be shared by the ones he left behind and the impact he has had will help people carry on after he’s gone.
