Baby Needs Breast Milk!
The "Doanuts" (Gwendolyn & Jimmy Doan, Maddie Rose, Mikayla, Gracie, Brian, and Thomas) thank God that our Goddaughter chose life and gave birth to beautifull "Baby Reese" on May 22, 2017.
We are truly blessed that she has entrusted us with his care and we are eager to adopt him if that is God's will.
Unfortunately, his birthmother is unable to pump, and while formula is helpful, breast milk is best. There's nothing better than the real deal. While some generous nursing mom friends have donated their surplus, we're still short.
At the time of this posting, he is three weeks old and already sucking down at least 30 ounces per day! Thankfully, we found a couple of local moms with quality surplus breastmilk who are willing to sell it to us for $1/oz, which is reasonable here in North San Diego County (I guess there's more than one reason why they call it "Liquid Gold").
But since our budget was already tight before the stork dropped this little surprise into our arms, we're looking for a little love from our family, friends, and any kind strangers who can help feed this hungry baby with real breast milk by contributing to his Got Milk Fund, which the math indicates will run about $800 per month.
We thank you for your generosity and ask you to pray for the baby, the birthmother, and our family. We'll pray for you, and ask Our Lord to richly bless you for your generosity and prayers.
