After weeks of headaches and waking up on Wednesday night with severe vomiting, TK was brought to the local ED. He was transferred to Essentia Fargo with inflamed intestines and a high fever. During an MRI, a large mass was found on his brain surrounded by fluid. TK was transferred to Sanford to receive care from Oncology, Infectious Disease, and Neurology specialists. TK will spend the next 10 days admitted to the hospital on antibiotics and a neurosurgery consult will follow. Wednesday was Carmen’s first shift back at work as a paramedic after weeks on medical leave herself; she will be out again to be with TK in the hospital. All proceeds will go to assisting the Goochey family with medical bills and missed work hours!
