A Journey of Hope and Healing

James Whitehead, a devoted husband to Jennifer and father to two wonderful sons, Caid and Andrew, was in a UTV accident about a month ago that changed everything in an instant.

He was found unconscious and airlifted to the state trauma hospital, where doctors diagnosed a traumatic brain injury (TBI). James has had to relearn basic skills like speaking, and while he's made remarkable progress in recent weeks—especially since transferring to Sheltering Arms Institute just a few days ago—he's still working hard to regain strength and movement on his right side.

After three weeks in the hospital (including two ICU stays), the road to recovery is long, but the improvements we're seeing are truly inspiring. James is fighting every day, surrounded by the love of his family and friends.

Medical bills from the trauma care, airlift, hospital stays, and ongoing rehabilitation are piling up, and we're reaching out to our community for support during this challenging time. All funds will be used solely for James’s ongoing medical recovery and essential living expenses related to his inability to work during this recovery period.
