Hello everyone,

My name is Diana, and I’m a proud Navy mom. My daughter is currently stationed at Norfolk, VA and she’ll soon be deployed overseas (1st duty call) for months. Before she leaves, her baby sister want to see her so bad since she didn’t make the graduation, so mommy duty is getting out of her comforts to ask others for help to make a trip to see her — to give her a big hug, tell her how proud we are, and spend a little time together before she begins this next chapter of service to our country.

Between the cost of 2 plane tickets round trip, 7 days (due to flight charges more to leave early date) lodge, and taking time off work, it’s been difficult. My goal is to raise $1500 to help make this visit possible.

This isn’t just a trip — it’s a moment that means everything to a mother and daughter. I want to look her in the eyes, tell her how much I love her, and remind her that no matter where she goes, she’s never alone.
