Our Story I am writing this because I have reached a turning point. For the sake of my son and my own life, I am making the difficult but necessary journey to leave a domestic violence situation. My priority is providing a safe, peaceful home where my son can grow up without fear. Starting over from nothing is overwhelming. While I have the courage to leave, I lack the financial means to secure our independence. We are currently trying to raise funds to cover:  A security deposit and first month's rent for a safe apartment.

The Heart of Our Story I am writing this to ask for help in building a safe, peaceful life for my 12-year-old son, Bryce, and myself. For too long, our lives have been defined by fear. JB is a bright, resilient kid who loves being on the baseball field and hunting but the stress of our home life has made it hard for him to just be a child. I am determined to get him into a home where he can focus on his school and him just being able to be a kid for once, rather than looking over his shoulder. Our Path to Safety Leaving a domestic violence situation means starting from zero. To ensure JB and I are truly safe and independent, we need to raise funds for:

Securing a Home: A deposit and first month's rent on a confidential, secure apartment.

Basic Essentials: Replacing the furniture, clothes, and household items we had to leave behind.

JB’s Future: Fees for his baseball and basic supplies so he can maintain a sense of normalcy during this transition.
