It was a seemingly normal day when tragedy struck on August 15, 2025. My beloved family member, let's call her Carla*, started showing signs of mental distress. The turning point came when she recently found herself sleeping on beaches and in a park restroom with three young boys—her children—in tow. 😢 She was arrested and CPS was called to pick up the boys from the police station.

I have stepped in to help her three children with housing but my place isn't large enough to house three boys and we need something larger.

I've already trickled down my savings by buying food, clothing, and a few toys but it isn't nearly enough. The boys have been deprived of their daily necessities for some time.

Carla’s struggle is not just about coping; it’s a daily battle against the shadows that threaten to engulf her very existence, let alone those of her innocent sons. It's heart-wrenching to think of the boys being placed in foster care but out of sheer desperation and love for their safety, this is the case. But every fiber of my being screamed NO MORE Trauma! 😡

I have decided to take them in but my apartment is too small and has no extra rooms to house three children.

I don't want this devastating chapter to cause Carla's children to be separated from each other. Finding out that this will be the second time that the children will be under the temporary guardianship of strangers instead of family members who truly understand their needs, pains me deep down to my core. We must act now because these precious souls deserve stability and comfort in times when chaos feels like the norm.
