Hello Dear Loved Ones!
I wouldn't want to kick off the year any other way than putting my hands to the plow of God's work. We GO because He CAME. That is exactly what this campaign is about. A dear brother in the faith and fellow international photographer has given me the honor of joining him and his organization H.O.P.E. Missions Ghana as he returns to Ghana in March.
We are going as a team to continue the work he started during his last visit in the Asante Akim Dwendwenase village, Ejisu Adanwomase village, and the Nkwantanai village. Francis Ayitee is the founder of the Diamond Gold College primary school and because of his unconditional love for children and his belief that every child deserves a quality education, our team has adopted this school to help bring his mission to life.
When we arrive in March we will help install toilets and bathroom infrastructure and equip each of the seven classrooms with computers and resources to assist in global learning. Our team will also use the resources we're bringing to construct a well that will provide a village with clean drinking water.
With your help we will also be able to supply each of the villages with clothing, toys, school supplies, and back packs. With your support we will provide these children with the educational tools they need that will greatly impact their lives, that of their villages, and beyond.
We will be collecting the following supplies until February 01, 2018:
7-Computers, 7-Printers, Copy Paper, Back Packs, Composition Books, Loose-leaf Paper, Chalk, Markers, Pencils, Crayons, Children’s Books, Coloring Books, Toys, Shoes, Clothing, Socks, Toiletries.
I am grateful to God to have such an opportunity in this to travel to the nations for His glory in the work of His Great Commission. It is my prayer that like my time in India, there will be a fruitful harvest of lost sheep placing their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, through the work of the Holy Spirit and the obedience of H.O.P.E. Missions Ghana, in being His tangible hands and feet and mouthpieces of Truth in a region that so desperately needs Him.
I need you my dear family and friends! Your prayers regarding this trip and the provision needed will enable US (you, and I, and the H.O.P.E. Missions Team) to meet tangible needs and take the Gospel to the unengaged.
March 19th, 2018 – April 2nd, 2018
Please be praying toward this end:
1. For the Holy Spirit to be softening the hearts and minds of those we will encounter.
2. For the Lord to prepare our hearts and mind to grow more dependent on Him as He sends us out in His name. That He would deepen our burden for His lost and love everyone that we will encounter as image bearers regardless of their differing religious beliefs and culture.
3. For our team Visas to be approved and for all of the trip's logistics.
4. For all of the necessary resources to be raised.
5. How God would call you to participate through prayer and/or financial support.
Should you feel led to give here is a breakdown of what the donated monies will be allocated toward:
Construction cost for the bathroom and well, shipping costs for supplies, housing for our team, meals, transportation in Ghana: $1,700 (each team member to raise)
Roundtrip Flight From LAX to Kotoka International Airport in Accra, Ghana: $1,049
Yellow Fever & Typhoid Vaccinations, Malaria Medication: $378
Total Needed: $3,127 – By: March 12th, 2018
✰✰ 100% of my photography business proceeds will go toward this trip so the fundraising amount will decrease toward that end.
Words can't even begin to express my gratitude in you taking the time to read this and for your prayers for the journey ahead. It is my prayer that His lost in this region will experience His love through our hands and profess Him as Christ and Lord over their lives. This is all for the Gospel!
With So Much Love & In View of Eternity,
Your Sister In Jesus,
Morgan Raquel Davis
