Dear Family & Friends,
I have an awesome opportunity to be a part of a small mission’s team that will be traveling to East and West Africa in late March and it’s coming up fast.
The team will be spending time in Uganda at Prepare The Way Ministry and in Ghana at The Father's House. Here is some information on each of these amazing ministries:
Uganda, East Africa (Prepare the Way Ministry) <> Website <> Facebook Page
“Prepare the Way Ministry equips believers to carry the atmosphere of Heaven or presence of God into every situation resulting in salvation, revival, healing, deliverance, and restoration (Luke 4:18-19). This ministry desires to see God's people give their lives in wholehearted abandonment to knowing Him and making Him known throughout the nations of the world.” ~ The “Him” is Jesus Christ in whom we have life! (Jn. 6:63, Jn. 10:10, 1 Cor. 15:22) Prepare the Way Ministry has a children’s home, a Christian primary & secondary school, a Bible College with two campuses to train and equip pastors and Christian leaders from around East Africa (Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, Burundi, Congo & Sudan), farming projects and an evangelism & village outreach ministry. The Holy Spirit is pouring out many signs and wonders through Prepare the Way Ministry and we are blessed to partner with them in anyway the Lord leads. I am very excited about the “village outreach ministry” they have been doing and honored we will be able to be part of this.
Ghana, West Africa (The Father’s House) <> Website <> Facebook Page
The Father’s House Ghana is “a community outreach center and long-term holistic care facility for children rescued from slavery and exploitation... [that seeks] to raise up Disciples of Christ in a loving home environment.” You can catch a glimpse of what God the Father’s heart looks like by spending time at Father’s House. It’s a gathering place for the village. Children run, laugh and play! It's a refuge! It's a well! There's a table prepared! It’s not only a place for the kids at the Father’s House but also serves the surrounding villages as well by providing a well for them to freely use as they need it.
I look forward to returning to The Father’s House to hang out with the amazing kids and youth there and help out as needed. I was very blessed to spend time at The Father’s House Ministry in Ghana and the Maasai Community Hope Academy in Kenya in the summer of 2016. It was a life changing trip and I was honored to partner with the ministries involved in these areas. Here is a photo gallery from that trip:

I have a labor of love I have been working on since my last trip to Africa. It is a blog that attempts to explain a “Christ in You (Good News) Bible Study-Map” that I have been working on. You can check it out here:
Christ in You (Good News) Bible Study-Map (Mystery among the gentiles revealed!)
This is an ongoing project that explores the good news and wonderful mystery of Christ in us (Col. 1:27), us in Christ (1 Jn. 4:13, 15) and the abundant life (Jn. 10:10, 2 Cor. 3:6, Jn. 6:63, 1 Cor. 15:22). We can have union with Christ because of the Holy Spirit (Eph. 2:6, 1 Cor. 6:17, Eph. 3:17, Col. 3:3) and Union with the Trinity as a result (Jn. 17:20-26). We receive all this when we believe in Him! That’s it, all that’s required is that we believe in Him! That we believe and receive all He has for us because He loves us. It really is the best news ever! It’s the difference between religion and relationship. Religion would have you believe you have to work hard to earn God’s love and acceptance and that He is out to get you if you mess up, relationship is believing in Him whom the Father sent (Jn. 6:29) and receiving the love and acceptance He already has for you because of what Jesus Christ has done, not what you have done. Oh thank you Jesus!
This is what is on my heart and what I hope to share with others while on this trip. I am willing for the Lord to use me however He leads. On this trip I am hoping to pray for the sick and for those who need deliverance, to pray for those who are captive to be set free, and to share the Good News of The Gospel of Jesus Christ, the good news that in Him there is Life Abundant! To help out with The Father’s House and Prepare the Way Ministry in any way that is needed.
This was late notice compared to the normal amount of time to prepare for a trip like this, however I feel a strong pull from the Holy Spirit to go! I feel I cannot say no to this trip, in my Spirit is a yes! I was only aware of this opportunity to go 2 months prior to the trip. I have not had time to prepare and save up for all the expenses for the trip but still feel called to go.
The expenses for a missions trip like this are many; airfare, travel insurance, accommodations, food, visas, vaccinations, ground travel, etc. There is a lot of travel on this trip: Charlotte, NC to London, UK > London UK to Ghana, Africa > Ghana, Africa to Nairobi, Kenya > Nairobi, Kenya to Kampala, Uganda and then back again.
I would appreciate your prayers and support as I embark on this adventure/assignment in Africa. I created this page to help raise funds to cover the plane ticket expense for this trip which is $2103.00.
* Donations made through GiveSendGo, although convenient, are not tax-deductible. If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation, please contact me and I'll explain how to do so. You can also contact with any questions you may have about the trip. email@example.com.
Here is a list of specific prayers:
- Protection (Spiritual, Physical & Mental/Emotional)— Please pray Psalm 91 over us!
- The Anointing & Empowerment of the Holy Spirit— I want Luke 4:14-22 to be our mission statement too!
- The Love of God Flooding & Overflowing from Our Hearts— I am asking for God’s Love to flood and overflow from our hearts by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5 & Ephesians 5:1-2). The world will know we are His disciples because of our Love for others!
- Traveling Mercies & Lots of Grace— We will be making connections through London, UK / Accra, Ghana / Nairobi, Kenya / Kampala, Uganda and will be crisscrossing between 7 time zones during our travels. We need God’s Mercy and Grace—Psalm 23:6—to power past the jet-lag and rigors of travel!
- Spiritual discernment while we are there and to be guided by the Holy Spirit the entire trip as well as divine appointments and the discernment to not miss them.
...and to add to the "The Anointing & Empowerment of the Holy Spirit" listed above... That we would go forward with the same power that is mentioned here:
"And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power. Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life. Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you." Eph. 3:16-20 (TPT)
Thanks! Peace, JoY, Grace and Abundant Life,
