Due to domestic violence, my sister and her two children came to live with my parents in 2023. During this time, they took on the legal cost of my sister’s divorce. These costs included not only legal costs, but the cost of traveling back and forth between states as well as providing for my sister and her two children. My sister lost her battle with cancer, passing away in March 2025. She left behind two children and her wish was that my parents and sister be their guardians. While my parents were taking on the cost of the legal battle for my sister’s divorce, now they have taken on the cost of the legal battle for guardianship of the children. God has been faithful and has shown His miracles along this hard journey. We are trusting Him to continue showing His power. The legal costs are continuing to grow as we continue in this unique and complex legal battle for guardianship of the two children.
