We all feel compassion when we hear of children who are abused or neglected, but we don't all feel called to actually take those children in. But, that's exactly what the Pankratz family has done. In addition to two young boys of their own, they have opened their hearts and home to foster 8 other boys and girls over the last few years (from birth through late elementary), and they always leave the option to adopt these children on the table, if it becomes clear they should not be reunited with their birth families.
This year, we ... the members of their Sunday school class ... are hoping to come alongside them for Christmas in a special way. Although their needs are, for the most part covered, there are many "wants" that this family has to forego. So, our goal is to to give gifts that will provide year-long opportunities for learning and fun together that this family could NEVER afford on their own! Opportunities like family memberships to the Houston Zoo and Children’s Museum, and multi-passes to the Little Beakers science center and Obstacle Warrior Kids, here in The Woodlands.
Would you please consider helping us give this family a Christmas they will NEVER forget?! Thank you SO much! (And, any extra we might raise above our goal, will NO DOUBT bless them in even more ways ... ways they would never have asked for help!)
