Many years ago, Jacie made a decision to make a difference, so she became a rescuer. Not with the fire department or ambulance service. Her mission? To help those who couldn't speak for themselves.

So she began Break The Chain Rescue.

From stray dogs to abused animals.

She took them in and helped them heal.

In February 2025, she experienced a crazy stroke, out of the blue. It was like someone flipped the script on our lives, and suddenly all our attention shifted to her recovery. The daily meds, therapy sessions, doctors’ appointments—every moment felt crucial; every minute took it’s toll. Yet through it all, one thing remained constant: her continuing care for these vulnerable souls throughout her own journey towards healing. But here’s the twist in our story... while we were busy tending to her health and caring for our furry charges, the bills started piling up like an endless game of Jenga with no end in sight! Vet costs add up fast—from vaccinations and spay/neuters to unexpected emergencies. These older souls need us now more than ever and require so much support to ensure they live their best lives

possible.

So we are raising funds for our rescue dogs and their urgent needs—every penny counts and will go directly towards their veterinary care and all love languages needed❤️😍. Your donations mean life-saving treatments- continued heart worm treatment, cancer treatments, monthly flea and heart worm medications, nail trims, haircuts (you have NO idea 😲🤪).
