My friend Fredrick and his family desperately need help. Fredrick has a wife Benice and 6 beautiful children, ranging from age 5 to age 16. In 2024, Fredrick came to Canada from Cameroon (central Africa) to make a life for his family where they would be safe and have opportunities not available at home. He began to work and save with the goal of bringing his family to Canada. Unfortunately Fredrick suffered a workplace accident and 3 of his fingers were severed in 2025. The fingers have been re-attached, but the healing process is a lengthy one. He hopes to return to work later this summer. However at this time, he is and has been unable to work since August 2025.

Very recently, Benice has been struck with a serious abdominal issue, requiring multiple surgeries. She is unable to leave hospital and is scheduled for a 4th surgery on June 2. Fredrick is so far away, heartsick and feeling helpless. He is sending all the money he has to pay for Benice's care but it is not enough. Her first surgery alone cost $2,700 US and she requires continuing care and medication which is added on top.
