We are stepping forward in faith and hope for our sweet girl, Emryn.

Emryn was recently accepted into a stem cell therapy clinical trial at Duke University, and we are truly filled with hope for this opportunity for her.

Emryn has quad spastic cerebral palsy, which affects all four of her limbs and impacts her muscle control and mobility. Every movement she makes is hard-earned. Every milestone is fought for. She is stronger than most people realize, and she reminds us daily what perseverance looks like.

This clinical trial uses donor cord blood to deliver stem cells in hopes of promoting neurological repair and improved function. There are no guarantees of specific outcomes — but many families have seen meaningful improvements, big and small. There are no known negative side effects, which gives us peace as we prayerfully pursue this option.

We know that God is her ultimate healer. We also believe He gives wisdom, resources, and opportunities through medicine and research. We are trusting Him fully while stepping forward in faith.

Because this is a clinical trial, insurance does not cover it. The treatment itself costs $15,000, and we are hoping to raise $16,000 to help cover the procedure along with travel and related expenses.
