In 2013, an American girl packed her bags and headed to Rwanda. At the same time, a Rwandese guy was living in the middle of nowhere in South Sudan. He was a missionary who was pioneering ministry, planting churches and preparing for future ministries. She wanted to be a missionary in Africa, so she took the first step and did a Discipleship Training School with YWAM in Kigali, Rwanda. In April of the same year, this girl was in the same village that this guy was in. She, her team and him worked together for two weeks - teaching in a school and pre-school, preaching in churches and helping to renovate a house. She saw he was a great guy, he saw that she was quiet. That was the end of it.
Fast forward to October 2014 when he moved back home to Kigali to study theology. One day, this guy asked this girl out to dinner, just to catch up as friends. But what they didn’t know was that was their very first date. From that day on, they knew they wanted to be together and one day, get married.
Now, on 5 March, those two are getting married!
Those two are Eric and Joanna. As missionaries, they rely 100% on relationship based support to meet their financial needs. Their ministry and schooling would be impossible if it weren’t for the financial gifts of generous people like yourself.
Now, as they prepare for their wedding and beginning their home, they ask for you help!
Please pray and consider you can help them begin their life. The goal is currently $4,000 and this will cover wedding expenses and buying the needed things for their home.
