The Background:

I will be traveling to Polynesia in May to spend a couple of months aboard Doulos Hope Ship, where I will be working with Operation Mobilization to bring knowledge, hope, and service to the people we interact with. Logistically, that will look like serving on the ship in one of the many departments. I could be placed in housekeeping, maintenance, or even with the cafe on board. I hope to gain experience in an intercultural context and a Christ-like understanding of servant-heartedness.

The Ask:

To get there, I need to raise $3,000 by April 27 to pay for the internship itself. I estimate that additional costs will come to about $1,500, which includes airfare and essentials for the trip. If you are willing, please consider partnering with me to live out my obedience to what I believe God is calling me to. Even $10 can help!

Prayer:

Please pray that the Lord would place me in the department that would grow me the most and teach me about Him, as well as be a humble example for the others on board.

May 6 - Leave Chicago, IL

May 8 - Arrive in Nuka'alofa, Tonga

May 8- May 18 -- Ship docked in Tonga

May 20- June 8 -- Ship docked in Samoa
