God has called us to Northern Thailand to serve Him with Serving Without Borders (SWB), a Christian missions organization that works in education, sports ministry, school outreach, church planting, support for at-risk girls, youth prison outreach, and discipleship.
Leandro directs BIFA, the soccer academy arm of SWB. He runs weekly soccer trainings for over 50 boys at both a local soccer field and a village school. At the trainings, these boys have the opportunity to hear the Gospel and Bible stories and spend time in prayer.
Sarah directs English & Missions School (EMS), an English language school designed to equip missionaries with language skills for missions work. Within the first two graduating classes of this school, students from Vietnam, Colombia, Mongolia, Thailand, and Burma attended the program, and we are looking forward to students from other nations joining in the future.
Together, we are involved in the other aspects of the ministry, as well--teaching Bible stories at a local Thai elementary school, supporting the church plant, teaching skills and sharing testimonies at the youth prison...
In order to dedicate ourselves to missions work full-time, we rely on the Lord to provide financial support, and we have been so blessed by how you--our friends and family and churches--have partnered with us in this work financially.
Each month, we need $1,800 to live in Thailand (visas, housing, electricity, water, food, etc.). For the August 2019 to July 2020 financial year, we are still in need of $1,025 a month ($12,300 total for the year). This is a big amount for us, but not impossible for our God. We ask you to prayerfully consider sharing in the work here by meeting this financial need. It's because of you that we can continue to do what God has called us to do here. Thank you for your prayers and practical expressions of care!
With our love,
Leandro, Sarah, and Baby
