Our parents, Dennis and Barb Boehs, have come to a point in their lives where because of health reasons (and age) it is not viable for Dad to continue working in the cabinet shop. Declining health is also a reason they are planning to move to Virginia to be with some of their children, so we can take care of them. 

They have numerous bills, but there is one in particular hanging over their heads. Because of circumstances beyond their control, there is a $26,000 lumber and door bill that is overdue and they have not been able to pay. (Parkinsons and a shoulder replacement resulting in the inability to manage work in a timely fashion contributed to this, which resulted in doors that were not able to be used.) Coupling this with a move to Virginia where housing is approximately double what it is in Mississippi results in a situation where every dollar is urgently needed, as social security income will not be sufficient for a mortgage payment in Virginia.

After months of uncertainty they finally have a closing date of May 8, 2026 and will need to be out of their house a few days after that.
