Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I hope this letter finds you well. I write to inform you that I have recently felt called to go. I have committed to a medical mission trip in Nigeria from June 15-30. I am partnering with Living Hope Ministries based out of Dallas, TX. I’m not exactly sure how I’ll be used, but whether administering vaccinations, supervising children, photographing events, or any other role, I trust that God will use me to further His Name.
In order to make my requests known, I’m seeking prayer and financial support. Many aspects of traveling to Nigeria scare me. For starters, I have only left the USA once. That time was to go to Toronto for one day (before passports were required for Canada). I’m asking for prayer for my team and I regarding safety and health. I’m seeking prayers for leadership from The Spirit. Pray for wisdom to discern, as well as courage to act upon those discernments. Lastly, I’m asking for careful consideration in supporting me with financial gifts.
The cost of the trip is $3700 prior to vaccinations and passport fees. With limited resources currently, I’m unable to make this trip happen on my own power. In an online sermon I recently listened to featuring David Platt, he described the call of all Christ’s people to be senders or goers. I feel that now is my time to go. I’m asking for any and all to partner with me as senders in the spread of Christ’s Name.
Because they haven’t heard,
