In April 2013 a Dear Friend of mine introduced me to a woman who began a ministry in Human-trafficking. Clueless to what that was. This amazing woman open my eyes to what was happening in the United States, our own backyard Chicago and our neighborhood. She took me to areas that she ministers to the ladies and even invited me to spend Mother's Day with them. My heart was seriously broken when I met the ladies who were able to get away from their pimps and johns. Yet I was hopeful because I knew God can help them.
It was My Dear Friend and this Amazing Woman who also introduced me to Chicago Dream Center New Life for Women Program. Since I joined New Life Covenant Church and became a staff member at Chicago Dream Center my walk with Christ has been adventurous. I am blessed and honored to have a front row seat to see the Hands of God transform beautiful broken women that comes to New Life for Women for help. My faith in God has been stretched and continues to grow each and every day. To God be ALL THE GLORY!!!
Now I've been invited to go to Africa in October 2017 with Army of the Kind Ministry (aotk.org) to help build a well, nutrition center and minister to women who are prostituting to feed their families. Please sow a seed towards my mission trip to Burkina Faso to serve others.No amount is too little.
Trip costs cover: airfare, lodging, meals, ground transportation, translators, guides, welcome package and materials, and a portion will go to offset the cost of our onsite projects.
