Why CrossAndCleats exists

CrossAndCleats was born from real life—faith lived out in the middle of hard seasons, kids’ sports, and the everyday moments where Jesus meets us.

In one of the darkest seasons of my life, after so much loss, God gave me two little boys whose faith and simple words helped lead my heart back to Jesus. In a moment of tears, my 4-year-old gently said, *“Mommy, just talk to Jesus. He loves you.”* That moment became a reminder I’ve carried ever since: even in the hardest seasons, faith can rise again when we place our hearts in His hands.

That’s the heartbeat behind CrossAndCleats—apparel with purpose, built to encourage families to live boldly for Jesus at school, on the field, and at home.

The three moments behind our three missions

These three stories aren’t just “collections.” They’re reminders of how God uses ordinary moments to spark extraordinary purpose.

1) The Faith-Box: hope you can hold

Our Faith Box was inspired during a season when I needed a tangible reminder that God wasn’t finished with my story.

After so much loss, my boys’ faith and love helped lead my heart back to Jesus. The Faith-Box was created as a reminder that even in the hardest seasons, faith can rise again.

2) Creative Colors: bold faith + creativity in little hands

Our Creative Colors Collection was inspired by a precious 4-year-old whose love for Jesus shines everywhere he goes.

While waiting for his brother’s baseball game to end, he sat on the sidewalk drawing with chalk. When a woman asked if he was making the letter T or X, he gently said, *“It’s a cross. Did you know Jesus died on the cross for our sins? He loves us. Do you know Jesus?”*

That simple moment is the heart of this collection—where sports and art come together through two brothers using their God-given passions to share their faith. Talented little hands, but even stronger in faith.

3) Athletic Apparel: strength on and off the field

Our Athletic Apparel collection was inspired by a brave 6-year-old baseball player who prayed, *“Jesus, get in my bat and help me be strong.”* After hitting a home run, he joyfully said, *“Jesus was in my bat,”* inspiring this collection as a reminder that Jesus is with us, gives us strength, and meets us on and off the field.
