Hi Everyone! My name is Allison Binder and I am a friend and coworker of Christine. In August of 2025 Christine was hit with words that would forever change her. She was told she has lung cancer. With many trips to the right doctors, she finally was schedule for lung surgery on January 9, 2025 in Iowa City. While in surgery they did a biopsy on the other lung and thankfully it didn’t spread. But because of the size of the mass on her lung, she’s been told she will need chemotherapy. Although Christine has braved through all of this, she’s quickly realizing she needs some help. She has run out of PTO, which means bills are going to start piling up. I am graciously asking for help to get Christine through her leave from work and give her some room to focus on her medical stuff and less on the money aspect. Let’s rally around Christine and give her some peace of mind while she continues on her journey which isn’t over yet.

With the money we raise for Christine, she will be able to supplement for her lost wages due to not having anymore PTO.  This will help her with basic things like rent, food, medical bills, and any other day to day expenses she will occur.
