I am evangelist oloyede Emmanuel, shepherd at Celestial Church of Christ, Oluwatedo Parish 2, located in Akala Powerline, Modakeke Osun State. We started this journey back in 2018 with just a dream and a vision to serve our community better through worship and evangelism. But as we've grown, so has the need for space—and more importantly, facilities that can accommodate all of us comfortably during services and other activities.

The church is at its capacity most Sundays; congregants spill out into tents set up outside under the blazing sun or on benches with little shade. It’s a heartwarming sight but not ideal when it rains! And while we cherish every moment spent in fellowship, there's an urgency to move indoors so that our beloved community can enjoy services without hindrance from weather conditions or lack of space.

That urgency is backed by necessity: inside the church, there are essential instruments needed for worship such as a sound system and lighting equipment which need professional installation but currently, we do not have enough funds to purchase them outright due to limited resources within our community contributions thus far. These additions will enable us to enhance both indoor services and outdoor activities including outreach programs that bring hope and healing in times of hardship faced by many members here.

But it’s not just about space or equipment; this church is more than bricks, mortar, and instruments—it's a beacon of faith for our community against all odds. It stands as an embodiment of resilience amidst challenges like poverty, unemployment, and social unrest that we face daily in Akala Powerline area.

This project isn’t just about building or buying equipment; it’s about ensuring the continuity of spiritual nourishment for everyone who walks through these doors—young and old alike, from all corners of our community. We need your help to make this vision a reality because together, we can create not just rooms filled with sound but hearts brimming with faith.
