I'm taking a moment to share something personal with you… For several years, my life, and that of my family, was put on hold.

A difficult ordeal profoundly affected us… What should have been years of building became a period of survival, with restrictions, financial hardship, and abandoned projects.

Time passed, and with it, opportunities that we will never have again.

From this journey emerged a personal account, an e-book conceived as a journal—my first—in which I recorded the events. I recount this path, its trials, but also what it taught me.

Finding no similar accounts to draw upon to cope with our difficulties, I felt the need to write our own, hoping it might, in turn, help others going through similar ordeals.

It was a first step in putting words to this experience and beginning a process of rebuilding after these years of hardship.

It was also an attempt to transform this experience into something concrete… capable of helping us, even modestly, to regain our footing.

It's a small space where I work with wood, simply, and where I create a few objects by hand.
