My name is Troy. I am married to one amazing woman, a father of seven awesome children, a combat veteran, a pastor for eight years, church planter and – as you might be - concerned about the people in my city.
Jesus has called me to create and declared The Truth Project of Salisbury Maryland as a non-affiliated, non-denominational, small group of Christians who target “the least of these” for the purpose of salvation, liberation, healing, and good words. We focus on immediate needs with long-lasting life results. This mission began locally, but Jesus has given me a vision of something much larger.
There is no question that certain people are not entering the modern church and that there is a certain movement away from church as we know it. We intend to reach these people and, eventually, we envision a feeding ministry that gathers resources from local businesses and redistributes them in a cafeteria-style environment. We consider “the least of these” to be homeless, drug addicted, disabled, tattooed, pierced, derelict, prostituted, spiritually lost and so on; those who otherwise wouldn’t be welcomed or feel comfortable in modern churchianity.
So, we are taking Jesus’ gifts to the street. We are meeting people who are angry, hurting, confused, needy, suffering, addicted, alone, and lost. We believe that when morals are introduced and accepted, the domestic environment is strengthened and faith is accepted so a community can begin to change from the inside-out – one person at a time. We have started this ministry to go get the "least of these,” just like Jesus did. We intend to free, feed and meet the immediate need of the least of these with long-lasting life results. I am looking for partners to push this ministry into the streets of America; breaking people from demonic strongholds, healing those with spiritual, emotional, and physical wounds, giving good words to edify the soul, and – most importantly – lead everyone to the salvation of Jesus Christ.
There is a problem. Most of the "least of these" can’t afford to support the ministry designed for them. I am looking for outside, hand’s-off, like-minded, lovers of my vision to support us from afar. We are not paying employees and we’re not interested in building a multi-million dollar building to house our people. We are looking for the funds we need to affect and change people's lives and support my family as Jesus has called me to chase this ministry full-time. So, we ask that you consider supporting our family and this ministry. Perhaps one day our ministry will be coming to a town near you! Thank you for your consideration.
