Surgery for Callie
- On Thursday, 1/16/25 my niece Megan had company and her dog Callie was so excited she bolted out of the house. Unfortunately she ran into the road and sat down. While trying to get her to come back a car refused to slow down or stop and hit Callie and kept going. Fortunately she didn’t have any internal injuries however she suffered lacerations on her feet with an exposed tendon and a broken pelvis, tailbone and femur. The broken leg required surgery to repair which is a huge burden financially but euthanizing a beloved pet for a broken leg was unthinkable. Help in any amount towards covering these unexpected ER visit costs and surgery would be greatly appreciated. No donation is too small. Megan is finishing graduate school this Spring and doesn’t need this extra financial stress. Prayers for Callie’s 8 week recovery are also appreciated.
