Hi everyone.
I'm Selvin Suanson from Guatemala, Central America. My wife and I have 3 kids: 16, 14, and 7 years old. Around 8 years ago I was fired from the place where I worked for 9 years. Unfortunately, it took me a while to get another job, so I fell behind in the bank payments for our house and the legal expenses and interest went extremely high until the point that we had to give back the house to the bank. The value of our house wasn't enough to cover all the interest and legal expenses. Now as a family, we have to face the reality that we don't have a house where to live and we have a debt to pay for Q. 190,000.00 (about $24,000). During the next years, we were able to pay a small part to the bank but then the pandemic hit the world and we fell behind again on the bank payment and now we are where we start. That was very frustrating to all of us in the family.
We, as a family had worked very hard the last couple of years and tried everything that is within our reach to solve all our financial issues, however, look like is not enough.
At this point, we will appreciate all the support that we can get. Every penny that we could get in order to pay the $24,000 to the bank will sum up our effort.
Because of all of the previous, since 8 years ago my credit went to the garbage can, so I don't have the chance to have a loan from any bank here in Guatemala in order to pay all that I owe.
I've worked overtime in my actual job and I had to find a second job here in Guatemala (which is very difficult to get by the way) in order to get more money to pay what I owe to the bank. Also, my wife and kids work at home making food to sell to help me in this awful situation. Desperate measures for desperate times, right?! Opening my heart here to you has been the most difficult thing I have ever done in my life.
We are a family that believes in God and we trusted that we are going to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. As a family, we pray every night and we know that God is the one that has been next to us all this time. Thank God we've had food on our table every day. But this is getting pretty difficult at a financial level and for that reason, I decided to look out to get any extra help and I was able to find this website.
I really trust that this came to me from God and I'm pretty sure that if you are reading this is because God choose you to be part of a miracle for my family. If you are willing to help me and my family I know that came from God's heart to yours.
