Steve has been hospitalized since October 1, 2021 due to COVID pneumonia.  On October 8, Steve was put on the ventilator and on October 11 was Lifeflighted to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh and was put on Extracorpeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) due to deteriorating further and put into a medically induced coma for 6 weeks.  There were many days where his family and medical team didn’t know if he would survive.  He has overcome many odds and is in a skilled nursing facility where he is slowly regaining strength and weaning off the ventilator.  Due to Steve’s disability, we would like to help the family financially.
