Scott Fuller Stroke Recovery

Scott suffered a massive stroke on 10/12/24. He literally fell out of the bed. He was a healthy 56 year old Class A builder. This has devastated his family, wife Ann and son, Walker. Scott had to have a hemicraniectomy a few days later to save his life. He spent 55 days in the hospital between ICU, step down and Inpatient rehab units. He came home in December and began outpatient rehab in January. He had his cranioplasty in January. Unfortunately, he had a seizure in February causing a 5 day hospitalization. He had a breakthrough in May and July. His seizure medication has been adjusted. Praying this latest dose will keep them at bay.

Scott continues his rehab despite insurance cutting off his visits. The family has to pay out of pocket for speech, PT & OT for the remainder of the year. He’s filed for disability but can take up to 18 months for approval. He’s too young for Medicare. Ann has not been able to continue their construction business because Scott was the business! Ann is also a real estate agent but cannot work due to the level of care needed for Scott. He is slowly improving his walking but speech and his right arm are taking longer. Scott’s family is in steady prayer for God’s healing. They believe wholeheartedly that God is using this situation to further His kingdom. There is purpose in the pain and so they will continue to trust God through this journey.

Any donations will be used to support Scott’s therapy, medical bills and the family’s living expenses. Thank you for considering coming alongside them. Prayers are immensely appreciated. Please follow along on CaringBridge.com for updates. Here is the link
