Shalom family in Messiah. I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of a dear sister in the faith and her daughter who have been through so much over the last few years. If you know them, you know this, but I will keep this vague for their privacy. Most recently, Mom (Ruth) has been in and out of the hospital over a horrible tooth infection that almost took her life. She does what she can to work and make it by for her daughter, but this situation has set them back even further, as well as other sudden stop in a regular monthly income source. She has been doing this on her own and in silence, and doesn’t need much to get through this season. 

I asked her to list out her immediate needs and the importance level, from most to least immediate. The total goal amount reflects this. 

-Gas and Food money to get to a Passover/unleavened bread event: estimated $100

-Brakes/rotors for car: estimated $200 (will update after our mechanic completes a quote for her specific vehicle)

-Phone card $55

-Misc bill $35

-Car insurance $65

-Tag renewal $150

-Remaining medical bills $800

-Monthly payment of $250 x 7 months remaining $1750 

-Daughter dental needs $980

I have known these ladies personally for going on five years now and feel strongly about trying to help them get back on their feet and stable. Ruth is currently doing much better after a hard battle against the infection, and asks for prayer that it will not come back so that she may have her strength back.
