We would like to thank everyone for all of the support they have given Paul and the Dossett family in the last couple of weeks. They are overwhelmed with gratitude. Friends and family have reached out to help financially, so we wanted to set up this account to assist Paul and his family with any unforeseen costs in Paul's care and therapy in the coming weeks and months of his healing journey.

Paul is currently on a ventilator at Harris in downtown Fort Worth. He entered the hospital on Tuesday, March 2nd, with double pneumonia, and tested positive for Covid19. On Saturday, March 6th, he was intubated. Paul is stable and, at this time, is expected to remain on the ventilator for approximately one month.
The greatest need Paul and Amy have right now is prayer. Please, continue to pray for his full recovery!

It was never really explained but I am Paul's Aunt (on his mom's side. I know it said the money came to me but we were able to have direct deposit set up so all the money you (79 of you!!) donated was deposited in real-time when you donated it. And donate you did...
when we first assessed their needs, we estimated ~$20,000, but we asked for $15,000 because we certainly did not want to ask for more than we needed and we just were not sure of that amount.
Your generosity poured out and surpassed what we asked for and as if God said, "you may need a little more," you gave a total of $19,320.00, so close to the amount that we originally forecasted. There were other donations as well that came directly to the house that is not included in that amount as well. We will never be able to thank you enough! This whole experience was humbling, to say the least, but it is with God's grace that we accept your generosity.
In case you have not heard Paul's recovery is ongoing, but a major hurdle was overcome on Monday, as Paul returned to work!!! Praise be to God!!! There were times we were not sure that would be possible but still in awe of God's blessing we are moving forward as a family. Thank you not only for your monetary contributions but also for the numerous kind words left with your donations and ALL the prayers! They were heard! We are so grateful to have every one of you (and the many more who chose to reach out to us privately) in our lives.

To simply say, “THANK YOU” for all of your generous financial support doesn’t seem adequate!
