This January, I am heading to the city of Mae Sot on the Thailand-Burma border to serve alongside the amazing people at Outpour Movement! My time will be spent working with a program called Seeds which is designed to inspire, empower, and disciple the underprivileged youth of this war torn area.
Thank you for considering partnering with me financially. Here is a breakdown of the trip:
- The program last for 3 months from January - March
- I will help with the development of their creative youth ministry called Seeds
- The total cost of the trip will be anywhere from $5000 to $6000
- While serving, I will have regular updates via social media and email
After a life changing experience on the Worldrace, I felt led to move to Charlotte, NC to spend the next season working, serving, and seeking God's will. It was a time of harvest and blessing, and I am grateful to all my friends and family who have made Charlotte feel like home. However, a restlessness lingered in my soul and after prayerfully considering my next steps, God opened a door for me to return to the mission field, and serve with my friends at Outpour Movement.
Here is their mission and vision:
Outpour Movement exists to transform, disciple, train, and empower the youth and young adults of oppressed people groups who transcend the Thai and Burma border.
Outpour Movement, a satellite office of Kingdom Inc., is a ministry with a unique blend of empowerment, entrepreneurism and humanitarian efforts. We are seeking to transition and expand our Training Center (Famous Ray's Restaurant/Braverly Cafe) open Seeds, a creative center for youth, and buy land for an Emergency Placement Home that will offer counseling and training to help us combat human trafficking, slavery and oppression for the displaced people on the Thai and Burma border.
