100 Fold is excited to send John Hudson and Jason Cherry start a new project in Pakistan with Forman Christian College. This is a government sanctioned Christian University in Pakistan, they seek to educate Christian and Muslim students to be leaders and transform their nation. Their moto is by love, serve one another. The estimated cost for us to serve is $5000. As 100 Fold staff, we seek to raise this money because this allows our project partners to apply more of their funds towards their work and to continue the good work they are doing in impoverished areas of the world. Would you consider partnering with us to serve in Pakistan? TOGETHER we can change lives and transform nations through architecture.

MORE INFO ON FORMAN CHRISTIAN COLLEGE IN PAKISTAN
Forman Christian College was founded in 1864 by Dr. Charles W Forman, a Presbyterian missionary from the USA. The college was initially known as the Lahore Mission College, but in 1894 the name was officially changed to Forman Christian College in honor of the founder. In 1972 the college was nationalized by the government. It was returned to the present owners of the college on 19, March 2003. In March 2004, the government granted University status to FCCU. The University embarked upon an exciting new stage in its history in September 2005 when it began a four-year Baccalaureate (Honors) program designed in accordance with world-class standards for accreditation. Among its accomplishments, Forman Chrisitan college boasts of educating many Pakistani Prime Ministers, Judges, and politicians.
Forman Christian College website about us publication
Forman Christian College is committed to preserving the diversity of our campus population while maintaining the high academic standards needed to achieve our vision of being recognized as one of the best educational institutions in the subcontinent. Throughout our history, we have served the poor and minority students alongside the wealthy and powerful. In recent times, we have renewed our commitment to helping to educate minorities, marginalized communities and those from poor rural backgrounds. In addition, we focus on ways to attract more women to our campus, particularly those from areas with little or no access to education for women above the intermediate level.
For many students, especially women, from areas outside the Punjab, residential space is essential for them to attend Forman. We have constructed a hostel for women that has sufficient space for the next several years for housing those who need it. We already have plans in place for housing them if and when that space is no longer sufficient. We are renovating and enlarging the men’s hostels and will begin fundraising for another one in the near future. In the meantime, there is hostel space reserved for students from various areas of the country with the least access to education. Hostel scholarships are offered to the neediest of our students. This ensures that poor but qualified students from areas outside Lahore will not be forced to turn down admission solely on the basis of financial need or a lack of a safe, clean place to live.
