Noelle has been diagnosed with a desmoid tumor, a rare type of aggressive soft tissue tumor. It isn’t cancer, but it isn’t benign either — it grows into organs, wraps around nerves and blood vessels, causes intense pain, and can become life-threatening. Only about 900–1,400 people in the U.S. are diagnosed each year, and this year, Noelle is one of them.

Because treatment is complex and few doctors have experience with desmoids, Keith and Noelle will travel to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, where a team that specializes in these tumors can review her case and recommend the best options.

Unfortunately, Noelle does not have conventional health insurance, which means that a portion of her expenses will be patient cash pay and reimbursed by their Christian Health Sharing provider. We are raising funds to help cover the cost of travel and lodging in New York, any necessary treatments, doctor-recommended anti-tumor supplements, care for their 4 children while she and Keith travel and additional expenses the family will have during this time.
